Pressure Treated Pine is and inexpensive, and reliable solution for framing a wood fence. Pine is treated with chemicals that make it rot and insiect resistant and will last for many, many years.
Wester Red Ceader: Used mainly for pickets.
Cedar has natural beauty and characteristics that make it superior to pine pickets.
Galvanized Steel: Used mainly for posts and gate farming.
Galvanized Steel is by far the most superior for fence application in terms of posts and framing. Galvanized Steel will not rust and will not rot.
